We are so happy that Macey is finally here. It was a quick labor. All I needed was a little medicine, and she came fast. They started the pitocin at 4pm and then my doctor broke my water. I knew I was in trouble, because they hadn't given me a epidural yet. When the anesthesiologist was giving the epidural I knew she was almost here. It took him forever. He hit a nerve which made my leg go flying, and it didn't work. (He was not a nice guy.) I asked if he was done, and he said yes, but I can try it again. I said no thanks she is here. The nurses didn't believe me. I told them to check me and sure enough I was a +2. They called my doctor, but he was in little valley taking his son to a baseball game . He thought he had plenty of time. I told him when he broke my water it wouldn't be long. The nurses asked if I could wait. I said no I'm pushing now.
With the epidural not working I wanted to get it over with. They called in another doctor, but mine came running in as I began to push. So at 5:24p.m. Macey was born. She is the biggest baby I have had. All the others were 6 pounders. We are so glad she is here and is healthy.

We all love her, and can't hold her and kiss her enough. Marissa loves her a little too much though. We have to lock the bedroom door otherwise Marissa is stopping the swing, swinging the cradle super fast or sitting on top of my bed almost on top of her.
